It’s a question that we ask and hear every day.

In today’s time-starved world, the answer is usually “not much”.

Time is a relative concept. It makes sense in small pieces.

But when we look at huge stretches of time, it provides insights into some of life’s biggest questions, like “how did life become so complex?” and “how can such complex lifeforms have been created merely by chance?” or even “is time travel possible?”
